Chapter 32 Hidden Mountain
Chapter 32 Hidden Mountain
Holding the showerhead, David stood behind Catherine, rinsing her wet hair. His hands rubbed her taut, smooth skin. "It's an unestablished community. There aren't many people, but its location is secluded and very private. You probably haven't heard of it; it's called Hidden Mountain."
"Hidden Mountain?"
"Yes, it's completely enclosed, located in the mountains, secluded and in the mountains, what else would you call it but Hidden Mountain?"
David approached from behind, embraced her amidst the steam, and looked at their faces, blurred by the steam in the mirror, saying, "This is a place I carefully chose; the paparazzi in Los Angeles would never find us here."
David was not exaggerating at all.
In this era without social media, smartphones, and drones, information dissemination channels are extremely limited. A key card, a wall, and a few security guards are basically enough to block out the vast majority of prying eyes.
Moreover, the total area of this place is only 1.7 square miles, with only a few hundred households in the community. The security guards who are stationed here year-round are basically familiar faces, and it is harder for a stranger to sneak in than to climb to the sky.
"Moreover, each residential plot in the community is at least one acre, ensuring that neighbors do not disturb each other."
David stroked the skin of the other woman's waist and upper body. Most of the skin was warm and delicate, like the tenderness of a young girl. But if you moved a little forward, you could feel two raised edges. The muscles were firm and had clear boundaries, like two taut rubber bands.
David thought to himself, "They even have abs! Are all the girls who dance this physically strong?"
This actually involves his blind spot in knowledge; core strength has always been the foundation of dance technique.
The tumbling, spinning, jumping, and balancing movements in dance all require strong core muscles for support. Otherwise, as the center of gravity shifts, it is difficult for dancers to maintain body stability.
Jin Chen, a graduate of the Beijing Dance Academy, is the best example. In a selfie she posted in April 2026, she showed "four abs that looked like they were carved with a knife, and her abs were so deep you could raise fish in them."
Wu Jinyan also mentioned in an interview that the "high-intensity dance training in Sisters Who Make Waves is no less than exercising in the gym."
So the idea that dancers are those with strong lower body muscles is just a stereotype held by David.
"Oh?" Catherine turned around and grabbed the other person's groin with one hand. "What do you mean? Do I look like a recluse?"
While examining it, she fiddled with it back and forth, frowning as she asked, "I'm pretty popular on set, right? Why would you have such thoughts about me?"
"Because I'm that kind of person too," David said, taking the soap and holding a jade rabbit-shaped bar. He helped the bar rub the soap evenly, swirling it around from base to tip. "I'm outgoing and talkative in necessary situations, but I prefer to be alone and do my own thing in private. I'm pretty good at judging people, so you and I must be similar, right?"
Catherine's breathing became rapid, and her hands moved much faster without her noticing. David keenly observed that she was becoming interested, because the grapes were starting to ripen.
Since that was the case, David Ovitz thought for a moment, then simply turned off the shower with one hand on top and the other on the bottom, and smeared the white foam all over her wet body.
"I've noticed that when you're not filming, you're always alone in your hotel room. I don't invite you to join me, and you even eat alone."
While talking and touching, David's eyes were also busy, and he rarely observed the other person's naked body from a frontal angle.
From a general aesthetic perspective, Catherine's nude figure appears somewhat overly muscular.
The overall visual impression is somewhat similar to that of a female track and field athlete, with a firm and elastic physique throughout, not appearing bulky, and even somewhat slender.
However, that's mainstream aesthetics. From David Ovitz's perspective, it's practically perfect. After all, what man could resist a pair of long, straight, and shapely legs?
With well-trained pelvic floor muscles, a taut buttocks, and sufficiently powerful thighs, he felt that when the woman was on top, she could probably suck his soul out.
Upon hearing the other party's reply, Catherine paused for a moment before quickly changing the subject, "Are American paparazzi really that scary? I'm not even famous yet, and I already have to move to such a secluded place?"
"Almost there," David said, placing his hands on her lower back. Her sexy abs accentuated her perfectly hourglass figure, revealing her fully developed bust and prominent cup size, which captivated David's gaze.
"You'll soon see how powerful American paparazzi are, and then you'll definitely thank me for my foresight today."
"I hope so," she said, turning on the shower to rinse off the soap, then turning to lather him up. "But you still haven't said whether this is your house or not, David?"
"Of course," he smiled and opened his arm so the other person could apply the ointment more easily. "Otherwise, why would I have brought you here?"
"But didn't you say..." Catherine hesitated for a moment, but finally said, "Didn't you say that cohabitation before marriage would negatively impact a female celebrity's image?"
"Yes," David smiled. After the three of them had dinner together in New York last time, he figured out the key point and naturally explained it to Catherine indirectly in a later conversation.
"So I plan to register this house in your name. I also have another house in this community, not far from here, about a fifteen-minute walk away."
David felt the other person's heartbeat quicken suddenly with his palm, and the smile on his lips never faded. He continued to talk to himself, "Anyway, we live close by, so it doesn't matter where we sleep. I'll take you to my place sometime."
The two each own a property, and there are no public records of them interacting. Even if they are followed and photographed in the same neighborhood, they can simply say they're going home; it's very safe.
Catherine paused briefly while applying the ointment, then resumed her normal actions, gathering her thoughts as she prepared to say something.
David suddenly reached out and tucked a strand of her wet hair behind her ear, speaking in a magnetic voice.
"Forget about making excuses. After all, you're the girlfriend of a future top Hollywood director. Having a decent place to live is a must, otherwise Tommy will probably laugh at me for being a cheapskate."
"You'll definitely be able to afford it in the future. At worst, you can just buy me a property when you become a big star."
"I won't say anything more," David said, taking the showerhead and rinsing off the soap. "You should get ready to welcome our shared birthday present."
