Naturally, he had picked up some of Jiraiya’s bad habits.
Noticing this, Tsunade decisively began cracking down.
She didn’t want Naruto to return as the same slacker, having turned into a second Jiraiya.
If that happened, she would be laughed to death by Kazuki.
Since she could offer little support in terms of training, she would work on Naruto’s personality instead.
Do her best to teach Naruto properly, so he wouldn’t become a second Jiraiya.
It wasn’t that Jiraiya was a bad person, but some of his habits were truly unacceptable.
So the next day, when Naruto used the Sexy Jutsu, he was beaten again by Tsunade.
After being disciplined once more and told not to use such an indecent jutsu, Naruto finally learned his lesson and didn’t dare act out again.
He understood that Tsunade was even harsher than Kazuki when it came to disciplining him.
Kazuki rarely got physical. Tsunade, on the other hand, didn’t care about such things. Your father was Hokage?
My grandfather was Hokage. My second grandfather was also Hokage. My teacher was Hokage. I am Hokage. You want to compare backgrounds with me?
Your father is still a junior in front of me. Just watch me teach you a lesson.
Comparing fathers and backgrounds only worked if you knew who you were up against.
In Konoha, few could surpass Naruto in that regard.
That’s why fans called him the "Konoha Prince." But when the Konoha Prince ran into Tsunade, he was nothing.
So Tsunade didn’t hesitate to discipline Naruto.
Kazuki had to be careful not to go too far, lest people accuse him of targeting Naruto.
That’s why Kazuki focused more on psychological punishment for Naruto, while being more hands-on with Sasuke.
He could personally discipline Sasuke without anyone accusing him of targeting Sasuke. Instead, they would think he was doing it for Sasuke’s own good.
After all, he was an Uchiha, an elder, and Sasuke was his junior.
It was that simple.
Similarly, if Kazuki disciplined Sasuke harshly, Sasuke wouldn’t feel targeted.
Even if Kazuki were deliberately harsh, Sasuke wouldn’t take it to heart.
With Naruto, it was different. The kid might wonder, "Why is everyone always targeting me?"
Simply put, Kazuki saw Sasuke as a child of his clan, as his junior.
Tsunade saw Naruto as her own child, her junior. So she had no qualms about disciplining him, and no one would criticize her.
Naruto’s miserable life began again. A serious Tsunade was not to be trifled with.
Unable to cause trouble, gamble, or spend money frivolously, Tsunade’s focus was solely on Naruto.
Shizune was glad she had hidden the scroll well, preventing Tsunade from getting the money.
She decided to scold Kazuki when they got back. Why did you leave a scroll with money where Tsunade would find it? Were you just waiting for her to take it?
That kind of behavior is unacceptable.
It must be stopped.

At the border camp, Sasuke lay on a hospital bed, drenched in cold sweat, gritting his teeth to keep from making any sound.
Karin paced anxiously nearby.
Hinata’s face was pale, her small hands gripping the hem of her clothes tightly. Her worried gaze occasionally swept over Sasuke and toward the operating room behind them.
"Lord Adv-"
Before the words finished, Kazuki lifted the tent flap and walked in.
Seeing Kazuki arrive, Karin suppressed the tears welling in her eyes. Hinata’s anxious heart also settled. With the pillar of support here, she felt completely at ease.
"Lord Advisor..."
Sasuke tried to get up, but the movement made him gasp. Blood poured from the wound on his chest.
"Stay down. Don’t get up."
Kazuki raised a hand to press on Sasuke’s shoulder, signaling him to lie still. He glanced at the ghastly wound and nodded slightly.
"It’s not serious. The wound just looks scary. You broke a few ribs. Not bad – you remembered what I taught you."
As Kazuki had guessed, once Ōnoki learned Sasuke was active on the battlefield, he promptly ordered his men to focus on him.
One Uchiha Kazuki was enough for Iwagakure. They couldn’t let another appear.
Even if Sasuke couldn’t reach Kazuki’s level, at least they couldn’t let him become a second Uchiha Shisui or Uchiha Itachi.
He felt Sasuke had that talent.
So Sasuke was targeted.
"Sir, what about my teacher..."
Sasuke looked back with difficulty toward the operating room. He was worried about Fū.
To save him, Fū had paid a heavy price. His injuries were serious. He had undergone surgery immediately. They were still waiting for the result.
"I’ve heard. His injuries are serious. Iwagakure, having suffered considerable losses, won’t sit idly by and watch a talent like you grow. So you will be severely targeted."
Kazuki’s expression didn’t change. His tone was very calm.
"Relax. Wait for treatment. No Uchiha fears death. What they fear is dying for nothing. Fū won’t die. He’s just seriously injured and will need to rest for a while."
Itachi had already reported to Kazuki the details of the ambush on Sasuke’s team.
Because it wasn’t life-threatening, Itachi, watching from the shadows, hadn’t intervened.
Soon, the operating room light went out. Several medical ninja walked out. Seeing Kazuki waiting outside, they quickly came forward and saluted.
"Lord Advisor."
"Is the surgery over?" Kazuki asked.
"Yes, sir. It’s not serious, though it looked quite gruesome. He’ll need some time to recover. Next, we need to treat Sasuke. Please wait outside, sir."
"Yes. I’ll leave Sasuke to you."
Kazuki signaled for the others to follow him out, not to disturb the medical ninja.
"You two kids, go back and rest. Sasuke and your teacher will be fine. They’ll be up and about soon."
"Yes, sir."
Karin and Hinata obediently left. With Kazuki there, they didn’t dare insist on staying to look after Sasuke.
Karin wanted to stay, but didn’t dare say so in front of Kazuki.
After sending the two girls off, Kazuki walked to an open area nearby and sat down, signaling Itachi, who was following him, to sit and talk.
Itachi emerged from the shadows and sat on the ground.
Though his gaze was calm, his eyes kept drifting toward the patient tent. Clearly, he was worried about Sasuke.
"Elder, during the ambush, especially when Fū blocked the attack for Sasuke, Sasuke’s emotional state fluctuated greatly."
"Uchiha will eventually face this problem, especially Sasuke. I have high hopes for him. But his reaction to emotional trauma isn’t good. Judging by the current situation, it’s still a bit early. Wait another two years or so."
Sasuke’s emotional fluctuations were significant. Based on his own experience awakening the Sharingan, Itachi felt that if the trauma were intensified, Sasuke might awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan directly.
But that would require Orochimaru’s help.
