Chapter 26 Rescue
Chapter 26 Rescue
"99.9% match. Except for the difference in sex chromosomes, they are almost completely identical." Acha stared at the waveform on the screen, her voice trembling slightly. "Mr. Lin, this level of genetic compatibility theoretically only occurs between identical twins. But in them, this connection seems to have been enhanced by 'Doctor' using some kind of technology, turning into a kind of...an anchor point for mind control."
Lin Yu stood in front of the screen, his right eye, the "Emperor's Eye," working at high speed to analyze the encryption protocol deep within the chip. He said coldly, "It's not an anchor point, it's a lock. 'The Doctor' used a brainwashing program to lock B-02's personality, but he couldn't sever the blood ties between him and Suya."
He turned and walked toward the control panel, holding the chip he had taken from B-02.
"System, analysis complete." A cold notification sounded in my mind, "Hidden neural control frequency detected—codename 'Puppet Strings.' Decryption key found: S-01's genetic map."
"Just as I expected." Lin Yu took a deep breath and inserted the chip into the signal transmitter connected to the satellite antenna. "The reason B-02 self-destructed was because it saw Suya's shadow deep in its subconscious, and the program conflict caused the system to overload. As long as we can reverse the activation of that 'Guardian's' command, we can bypass 'Doctor's' control."
"You mean... to use Suya as bait?" Acha was shocked.
"It's not bait, it's salvation." Lin Yu shook his head, his eyes resolute. "Only Suya's genetic signal can awaken him. Prepare the communication; I need to connect to the General's Mansion."
……
In a secret room in the general's mansion, Suya was curled up on the sofa. Ever since she learned that she might be an "experimental subject," she had become unusually silent.
When the video call connected and she saw Lin Yu's serious face, her eyes instantly welled up with tears: "Brother...am I really that scary? Am I...a monster that shouldn't exist?"
"Nonsense!" Lin Yu interrupted her sharply, his tone immediately softening. "Suya, listen, you're not a monster, you're a savior. Right now, only you can save one person."
Lin Yu told Su Ya everything about B-02 and the contents of the video in the chip, without missing a single detail.
"You mean... I have an older brother?" Suya trembled as she touched the birthmark on the back of her neck, tears welling up in her eyes. "He's still alive? Where is he?"
"Under the control of the 'Phoenix' organization, he has become a walking corpse." Lin Yu pointed to the instrument in front of him, "But this machine can send a special bio-wave with a frequency that perfectly matches your genes. As long as you speak to it, your voice can travel directly into the depths of his brain through this 'blood bond'."
"What should I do?" Suya wiped away her tears, and for the first time, a glimmer of hope ignited in her eyes.
"It's very simple," Lin Yu said, activating the transmitter. "It's like calling a lost child home. Use your heart to call him. Tell him, 'Your sister is here.'"
Meanwhile, at a remote mountain base a thousand miles away.
B-02 sat like a zombie in the corner of the training field. A chip was implanted in his brain, ready to receive the next assassination mission at any moment. The world around him was gray, with only the command to kill echoing in his ears.
Suddenly, a piercing electrical sound exploded in his mind.
Immediately afterwards, a gentle, clear voice, as if from the depths of a distant memory, pierced through the layers of brainwashing and softly rang out:
"Brother...where are you?"
B-02 suddenly raised its head, a hint of confusion flashing in its eyes.
"Brother, it's me, Suya. I'm waiting for you to come home..."
The voice carried a strange magic, like a key slowly inserting itself into the rusty lock in his heart.
"Sister...?" B-02 clutched his throbbing head, his body trembling uncontrollably. The world before him began to crumble, replaced by the image of the fire ten years ago, and the scene of him desperately pushing his sister towards the ventilation shaft.
"No...don't control me..." he growled, his nails digging deep into his flesh.
The base's alarms blared.
"Warning! Experiment subject B-02's brainwaves are abnormal! The mind control lock is about to fail!" the mechanical voice roared frantically.
"Initiate forced removal! Kill him!" the doctor in the white coat roared hysterically in the monitoring room.
The two guards drew their guns and aimed them at the struggling B-02.
At this critical moment, B-02 suddenly raised his head. This time, the confusion in his eyes disappeared, replaced by a resolute, burning flame.
Instead of dodging the incoming bullets, he charged straight at the base's control panel.
"Sister...I've come to find you..."
He silently chanted in his mind, and with all his might, he plunged the dagger in his hand into the core of the control panel.
boom--!
The massive explosion and flames instantly engulfed the entire screen.
The signal was lost at the Yangon base.
The waveform on the screen turned into a straight line.
Suya slumped into her chair, sobbing uncontrollably, "He...he didn't he... again?"
Lin Yu didn't speak, but stared intently at a small window that popped up in the lower right corner of the screen.
That was a data packet that B-02 transmitted back using the last bit of bandwidth before cutting off the signal.
There was only one blurry photo inside.
The photo shows a blood-covered boy giving a thumbs-up to the camera. Behind him is a burning laboratory and the terrified figure of a "doctor".
"He's not dead." Lin Yu looked at the photo, a cold smile playing on his lips. "He escaped. And he brought the coordinates of 'The Doctor's' hideout with him."
Lin Yu stood up and grabbed the trench coat hanging on the back of the chair.
"Acha, inform General Aung San. Target locked: Phoenix Organization Southeast Asia branch."
"We're going to pick him up and take him home."
