On her first day, Jocelyn Morgan only managed to get a general sense of the situation with the King, and she had no opportunity to collect food scraps.She still didn’t know where the kitchen that prepared food for the King was, and continued her observations.

Taylor paused and looked back, asking, "And Miss Morgan? Is she here?"

The servant was momentarily confused, then Taylor added, "The Arabic translator."

"She resides in the first room on the second floor, next to the Arabic doctor’s room, but she seems to have just gone out."

"Gone out?" Taylor frowned, peering outside, "Where did she go?" He appeared more interested in her whereabouts.

"I’m not sure about that," the servant replied, "but she shouldn’t be gone long, she’ll return shortly; she has translation tasks continuously. The doctor consults with the King three times a day, almost time now."

"Oh." Taylor turned and stepped outside, realizing that looking for his father was just an excuse; he was truly here for Jocelyn Morgan.

Last night, he nearly spent the whole night awake, with her image constantly lingering in his mind, a beauty that undeniably captivated him.

Jocelyn Morgan, on her way back to Justin Kingston’s place, needed her computer, which was left there.

She also had to discuss with him what she’d learned here and ask when he’d return, needing to quickly pass Ian Shelby’s note to Mia.

As she crossed the lush green lawn, under the beautiful setting sun, Ian Shelby approached from not too far away...
